Sunglasses might not seem quite as important for safety on the bike as say your helmet, but they are. Not only do they protect your eyes from incoming objects, they help you see the road or trail ahead and help you navigate it safely. Tifosi’s new Enliven glasses aim to help you see the path ahead in better detail to keep your ride moving forward.
The idea behind Tifosi’s Enliven lenses is that they enhance the contrast to help you see the details of the road and improve depth perception. They use their Enliven Color Capture technology to help greens, blues, and red “pop with definition.”

Enliven Bike marks Tifosi’s fourth different Enliven lens. Others include Enliven Golf, Enliven Polarized On-Shore and Enliven Polarized Off-Shore. The last two are specific to the fishing world. Each version tweaks the colors to optimize your experience, while the finishing versions use polarization to reduce glare off of the water.

For Enliven Cycling, six models will be available to start, the Alliant, Amok, Crit, Davos, Vero, and their new frameless Slice. This should provide a wide range of models to fit the various tastes of cyclists looking for a great value with quality optics. All of the listed frames are made with Grilamid TR-90 for durability and lightweight. The ear and nose pieces are adjustable for a custom fit, while the lenses are shatterproof and offer 100% UV protection. The lenses for all listed models, except the Slice, are vented to help prevent fogging.

While multiple colors are available in each of the models, the Enliven editions will come with black frames and temples with red Tifosi branding. The lenses are not currently part of their custom program.
All models are priced at $49.95, and incredible value compared to other brands on the market. We are working to get some samples in for review and will post once we have had a chance to try them out.
