Wolf Tooth Components has upgraded the lowly compression plug with colors matching the rest of their line and an integrated 5mm spacer.
The Wolf Tooth Compression Plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks—essentially securing everything on the steerer tube. Usually, one receives basic compression plug from either the fork or the headset manufacturer that offers little options in the way of customization. Wolf Tooth’s compression plug comes with a stem cap with an included 5mm integrated spacer, which is important because many fork manufacturers require the steerer tube to extend above the top of the stem.
Wolf Tooth’s model is available in eight color options to match the colors of your bike and the rest of your Wolf Tooth bling kit. This includes headsets, chainring bolts, seatpost clamps, axles, headset spacers, bottle cage bolts, and more. Because if you can match the color of your headset to the color of your seatpost clamp, you should absolutely do that.
