Niner Bikes raffles custom 2021 IMBA edition JET 9 RDO

Niner Bikes, a staunch advocate for IMBA, is raffling off a one-of-a-kind Jet 9 RDO to raise money to support fund trail projects around the world.

“Since I began this company more than a decade ago, Niner has been a staunch supporter of IMBA,” said , founder and president of Niner Bikes. “From ‘Day 1,’ our mission has been to make riding on better, period. One of the ways we do that is by advocating for places to ride. We’re committed to dirt, in every sense of the phrase.”

Only two of these will ever be made. One for the raffle winner and one for the wall in Niner’s office showroom. This custom painted JET 9 RDO was designed in-house in ,  by Senior Graphic Designer Nate Adams and painted by Black Magic in Portland, Oregon. With intricate topographic lines and IMBA theme logos throughout, this is a functional work of art that broadcasts support for trail building and mountain bike trail access around the world.

“We would love to see mountain bike trails be as common as ballfields. That’s a very tall goal but it’d be great if most communities had trails right in their backyards,” says IMBA’s executive director, Dave Wiens. “Not every can have backcountry trails, but some can have a bike park the same way you’d have a skate park, something for people to get out on.”

The 2021 IMBA mountain bike from Niner is dressed in a Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain, FOX 34 SC Factory fork, Industry Nine wheels, Schwalbe tires, and Race Face cockpit components. The frame is our newly redesigned JET 9 RDO, with a trunnion rear shock, progressive and adjustable geometry, , and stout, Enduro MAX pivot .
