Tifosi has released a string of new frames this year for cycling, running, and just day to day use, with the newest being the Moab. The new full frame design is perfect for hitting the trails with a full coverage design and a new adjustable nose pad for a snug fit.

The Moab starts with a GRILAMID TR-90 frame, the standard in the industry. The TR-90 material is light, flexible, and durable, perfect for all of your outdoor adventures. The full frame wraps around the polycarbonate shield lens, which is shatterproof and scratch-resistance. Add un hydrophilic rubber at the nose and tips of the temples, to provide plenty of grip, with even more when you start sweating. The nose piece has been redesigned to allow you to customize the fit at the nose for a more stable fit. You can also customize the fit at the temples better work with your helmet or hat. The Moab weighs just 31g, not too far off from their rimless designs. Frame width is 149mm with 126.5mm long temples. The lens itself is 138mm wide by 56mm tall, making them a great fit for medium to large faces.

The Moab usess a flatter 5-base lens that matches well with many helmets, and also casual wear. On some colorways, Tifosi uses their CLARION mirror coating to repel moisture and sweat, while also offering plenty of contrast for the road or trail. There is also a FOTOTEC version with Tifosi’s red photochromatic lens that transitions from 64% to 14% light transmission. Non-FOTOTEC models come with their AC Red and clear lenses to quickly change with the conditions.
At the launch, there will be four colors available, Blackout with Smoke/AC Red/Clear, Sahara with CLARION Gold/AC Red/Clear, Plum Passion with CLARION Deep Purple/AC Red/Clear, and Satin Vapor with CLARION Red FOTOTEC. Each comes with a ballistic nylon case to hold your glasses and additional lenses, and a microfiber bag to protect and clean.
The Moab will be available from Tifosi on October 4th with pricing at $79.95. We will be working on a review once we have a chance to get some time in on them, along with a fun custom painting project.
