Fizik has unveiled the all-new Vega Carbon. It is their latest lightweight, powerful, and innovative racing road shoe. It is designed for riders seeking top-tier performance.
The Vega Carbon is designed from the sole up. It features a host of innovative advancements. These include an updated anatomical shape, strategically mapped materials, and an integrated outsole.
A Natural, New Shape
Vega Carbon features an entirely new and improved ergonomic shape. The design has a straighter axis, reduced heel-to-toe drop, and an expanded toe box. These features reflect the changing needs of modern riders. This updated geometry allows the foot to fully stretch, enhancing stability, reducing fatigue, and improving overall comfort.
Integrated Carbon Outsole
Vega Carbon’s innovative full-carbon outsole is integrated directly into the shoe. It is concealed beneath the upper fabric to reduce overall stack height in the cleat area. This highly stiff design places the foot closer to the pedal, maximising power transfer and delivering a more natural feeling while pedalling.
Fabrics and Features
Fizik’s Aeroweave PRO woven fabric is coupled with a thin translucent mesh. This combination improves breathability and saves weight. It also retains tenacity. Vega Carbon strategically maps materials. It utilizes distinct materials in specific areas. This ensures exceptional performance without compromise. It makes Vega Carbon the ideal choice for intense, high-output rides.
A foot-wrapping bootie made of perforated Airprene material enhances comfort. It provides a pressure-free fit for improved comfort and stability.
Cyclists can fine-tune their fit using a Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit System. This system allows for separate adjustments between the instep and midfoot areas.
