A Natural, New Shape
Over the past few years, bike geometry and riding positions have changed. This has led to a knock-on impact for the contact points between riders and their bikes. Fizik’s latest shoes, including Lyra, have responded to this shift with an updated anatomical shape, allowing riders to more easily achieve modern riding positions in comfort.
A wider, rounder forefoot and a lower-drop profile give the shoe a more natural feel under load. With Lyra and all of their other recent shoe iterations, Fizik has progressively updated its shoe lasts, moving toward wider toe boxes, rounder forefoot profiles and lower-drop platforms that better align with the way riders position themselves on modern bikes.
The updated platform also leaves room for riders who prefer a slightly rearward cleat position, a setup increasingly favoured for improved pedalling stability and efficiency on longer efforts.

Lyra features a Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit System, offering independent adjustment at the instep and midfoot for a fully personalised fit. The soft, breathable upper mesh area of the shoe enhances airflow across the foot, while strategically placed PU-laminated zones around the closure system and medial area provide added structure and support, ensuring a secure, stable feeling for all-day comfort and performance on long road rides.
