Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) has won Stage 2 of the 2024 Giro d’Italia, the 161km long San Francesco al Campo-Santuario di Oropa (Biella). Daniel Felipe Martinez (Bora – Hansgrohe) and Geraint Thomas (Ineos Grenadiers) finished second and third respectively.

UAE Team Emirates have unveiled the team that will contest the 2024 Giro d’Italia. Leading the team’s hopes for the General Classification will be debutant Tadej Pogačar while Sebastian Molano will lead the line in the sprint stages.
