The 2014 USA CRITS Championship Series kicks off this Saturday, March 22nd, at the 3rd Annual Delray Beach Twilight Festival in sunny Florida — an oasis for people that crave a playful lifestyle and a place of hospitality to visitors from around the world since 1911. Thousands of people will flock to the downtown area for an epic criterium cycling event that takes place alongside a health and lifestyle festival includng health-centric vendors, BMX stunt shows and clinics.
The Delray Beach Twilight course is a 0.6-mile course over three city blocks on the lively streets of Downtown Atlantic Avenue. The course features four 90 degree turns. The Start/Finish Line is next to Spot Coffee, on SE 1st Ave. Amateur races begin at 8:00am and will run through 2:35pm. The final races start in the late afternoon and finish into the night with the three main events – CAT 1-5 Finals, the men’s and women’s Professional/Elite races.
Amateur Finals – 5:30pm
Women’s Pro/1/2 Inv. 3 – 6:35pm
Men’s Pro/1 Inv. 2 – 8:00pm
