The third stage in the Tour Down Under, between Norwood and Campbelltown, had a feisty final with the climb to Corkscrew less than 10 km from the finish. Lotto Belisol brought Adam Hansen, leader in the mountain classification, in a comfortable position at the foot. Cadel Evans took off on the climb and won the stage. Hansen became fourth and hangs on to the mountain jersey. In GC Hansen moves up to the 13th place at 33″ of leader Evans.
