Gevenalle releases BURD front derailleur, closes the gap on cyclocross shifting

Gevenalle, formerly known as RetroShift, has released their new BURD (Blatantly Upgraded and Rebranded Derailleur) Front Derailleur (and Chain Guide) just in time for cyclo-cross season.

The new 84 gram short cage derailleur completes Gevenalle’s CX 1 and CX2 Shifting Systems. Coupled with the BURD rear and CX Shifters, Gevenalle moves closer to being able to offer a complete Cyclocross gruppo.

The MSRP for the BURD Front is 49$ and includes Gevenalle’s amazing crash rebuild service, getting riders back up and running in the event of a incident for only 20$ including shipping.

The BURD Front Derailleur (and Chain Guide) weighs in at 84g in Braze-on form, and is also available in a 34.9mm clamp model (31.8 with included adapter).

The small cage front derailleur for can handle double chainring sets in the following configurations: 34/42, 34/44, 36/46, 36/48, and it can also be used as a chain guide with single chainrings.
