On Saturday and Sunday, November 8th and 9th 2014, the Philly Bike Expo returns for its fifth year. The premier East Coast bicycling event will once again be held at Philadelphia‘s premier event venue.
With its 104,000 square feet of space and full window wall of natural light, the Pennsylvania Convention Center’s Hall “E” is bigger and brighter than any previous Bike Expo location.
“There’s now plenty of room for maintenance & repair clinics, test rides and demos, bike fitting, and food trucks,” says show director Bina Bilenky Trahan. “Buzz and promotion is bigger this year, too. Have you seen our billboard near the 76 West ramp at Spring Garden Street?”
The Philly Bike Expo is designed to interest, inspire, and inform bicycle aficionados, weekend enthusiasts and those merely curious about the fun and fitness awaiting on two wheels.
Artisans and manufacturers of bicycles, accessories and apparel will display their latest products. Many exhibitors have been at the Expo since the beginning, and new ones continue to be added. The Philly Bike Expo has also become the place for young companies to showcase for the first time anywhere.
The show features seminars, presentations, how-to’s and family-friendly activities. Food and drink, rides, races and after-parties round out this two-day festival of bicycle culture.
After half a decade, the Philly bike Expo is well on its way to becoming an institution. Much-anticipated and not-to-be-missed, the Philly Bike Expo has something for everyone.
