Shower’s Pass adds lifestyle apparel

Showers Pass has introduced their new Bamboo-Merino Henley shirts to compliment their full line of clothing designed for an active lifestyle.

Showers Pass’ Bamboo-Merino Henley combines the benefits of two natural fibers in a long sleeve shirt that, while designed for bike commuting, translates well to active outdoor lifestyles off the bike as well. Fine bamboo fibers offer a soft feel inside the garment, while also offering a cool-to-the-touch feeling. In addition, Merino wool fibers on the face of the shirt provide warmth and prevent odors through high output outdoor activities. These two natural fibers are knitted together to form Showers Pass’ exclusive Bamboo-Merino Cool Tech fabric.

showers-pass-henley-2The henley provides a perfect fit, with a long torso and sleeves for full coverage when on the bike, in addition to seamless underarms, raglan sleeves, and flatlock stitching to prevent chafing.

“We set out to create the perfect long sleeve casual mid-layer to complement our jackets for cold weather commuting. While we love many of natural benefits of Merino wool, we wanted something softer next-to-skin”, says Stephanie Leikas-Homolya, Marketing Director of Showers Pass. “Bamboo fibers offer the same moisture wicking benefits as wool but our bamboo knit is ridiculously soft against the skin.”
