Canfield Brothers Offers New Consumer Direct Pricing and Color Options on 2016 Jedi

  • Ron

Canfield Brothers, high-end boutique mountain bike manufacturer, announces new consumer direct pricing and color options for 2016 on the Jedi, the brand’s flagship downhill bike. The Jedi frame now retails for $2,399 with a Cane Creek DB Coil and custom MRP G3 chainguide, down from $3,150. The frame is also now available in a Factory Raw finish in addition to the classic and stealthy Ano Black, both with six different color options for the links.

“We’re a performance based brand,” said Vin Quenneville, director of sales. “And as we continue to grow, making that performance more attainable for more riders is something we feel strongly about. The new consumer direct pricing structure on the bike that has long defined us reflects that, allowing us to remain competitive in the growing market segment.”

The 2016 Jedi remains otherwise unchanged, and features 27.5-inch wheels, a 62.5-degree head angle, 16.6-inch chainstays and offering up 9 inches of travel combined with Canfield’s Formula 1 parallel-link suspension design featuring 3 inches of rearward axle path, giving the bike its signature terrain-flattening feel.

“It’s the best version of this bike we’ve ever built,” said Chris Canfield, co-owner and designer. “When we unveiled the current version of the Jedi’s frame and suspension in 2014, we didn’t think it could get any better, until we redesigned it around 27.5-inch wheels for 2015. This is without a doubt the fastest downhill bike we’ve ever made.”

The 2016 Jedi is available in S, M, L and XL now at CanfieldBrothers.com in polished raw and black anodizing with six different link color options and ships with the Cane Creek DB Coil for $2,399 USD. Frame, fork and component packages also available.
