Niner Bikes sponsors Ride Sun Valley’s Fox Trot 40 cross-country race

Niner Bikes has signed on as the title sponsor of the Fox Trot 40 cross-country mountain bike race taking place during Sun Valley, Idaho’s annual mountain bike festival, Ride Sun Valley.  The Fox Trot 40 is a stand-alone cross-country race in its second year running that draws riders from across the country eager to experience an epic course in an iconic mountain bike destination. In order to qualify for the festival’s Sun Valley All Mountain award, riders must complete the forty-mile event through some of Sun Valley’s most scenic and challenging terrain. Niner Bikes is a fitting brand to take over sponsorship of such a core mountain bike event.

“We love everything about Ride Sun Valley. Sponsoring such an iconic event in one of the world’s most pristine mountain bike settings is what Niner is all about,” cited Mike Gann, Niner’s President.

The race features a rider-favorite point-to-point course that will climb over 7,955 ft., reaching a maximum elevation of 9,620 ft. while making its way through 39.4 miles of trail in both the Sawtooth National Recreational Area and the U.S. Forest Service Ketchum Ranger District. New to the 2016 event, the race features the revered Osberg’s Ridge, which adds eight miles and 2,000 vertical feet to the 2015 course.

“Having Niner on board this year with the Fox Trot 40 is excellent. The race is such a huge part of our festival. The 2016 course will be even better than last year—it truly gives the riders a world-class tour of what this area has to offer,” said Event Director Seth Delorey.

Ride Sun Valley takes place Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, June 26 and includes a vast array of mountain bike competitions for all ages. From the Idaho Pump Track State Championships to the Downtown Criterium/Team Relay, there is absolutely something for everyone.
