Wolftooth Components has expanded their thru-axle offerings with a new 12mm option for road forks.
The new axles join their 15mm road axle option and are compatible with road and CX forks using a 100mm thru axle hubs. They are installed with a 6mm hex key to keep things clean and simple.
Like all of Wolftooth’s machined goods, the new axles are made in their Minnesota shop with 7075-T6 aluminum. A stainless steel washer is included to protect your fork and converts more of the tightening torque into clamping force for a stiffer interface. It also makes it easier to remove and reinstall by preventing the head of the axle from sticking or galling to the fork.
They are available in the six pictured colors, as well as four thread pitches and lengths:
- 1.5 x 120mm
- 1.5 x 125mm
- 1.0 x 117mm
- 1.75 x 122mm
