Patagonia releases details on Spring 2020 line

  • Ron

After shutting down for the pandemic, Patagonia has now reopened their stores and distribution centers and showing off their Spring 2020 line. Here’s some updates and items from the lines that cyclists may find to be of interest.

The First 100% Fair Trade Certified Sewn Mountain Bike Apparel Collection

New bibs, new liner shorts and revised Dirt Craft shorts are all on tap for the season. Made from a combination of recycled and natural materials, the entire collection of mountain bike apparel is now sewn in socially responsible Fair Trade factories while using fewer virgin materials as compared to past seasons.

The line is deep, containing long and short sleeve jerseys, jackets, baselayers, bib and liner shorts and baggy mountain bike shorts.

Macro Puff Quilt

Great for bike packers, everyone wants to get their hands on the new Macro Puff Quilt. Incredibly warm for its weight, the Macro Puff Quilt is a nearly queen-sized blanket that’s Fair Trade Certified sewn with the same materials as our Macro Puff Hoody. It packs down easily for travel, stays warm even when wet and is ideal for staying warm year-round. Find it here

Lightweight Sleeping Bag

Another one for bike tourers: the lightly insulated Lightweight Sleeping Bag (45 grams of synthetic Plumafil) will be available in August of this year. It adapts to any minimalist adventure – use it alone on warm nights, or wear over outerwear on flash missions or combine with another bag for added warmth.

Weighing only 11oz and stuffing down to the size of a grapefruit this bag is small and light enough to always be put in the pack.
