Chrome’s Most Popular Pack Gets a BLCKCHRM 22x Makeover

  • Ron

Chrome’s most rugged all-condition backpack just got a serious material upgrade. Inspired by technical sailcloth material and the 22-degree bias that gives it strength to resist tearing. The BLCKCHRM 22X Barrage Cargo Backpack is forged from the toughest and lightest material Chrome could make.

The Barrage is watertight with a fully seam-welded liner made from 600-denier truck tarpaulin and the 22X nylon laminated shell. Together with the roll-top closure, the two layers create a completely waterproof backpack.

To keep the pack close to your back when not fully packed, Chrome added compression straps to the sides. For additional storage, the Barrage features a webbed cargo net on the front, two internal pockets to separate wet and dry cargo, and two side exterior pockets for your water bottle or U-lock.

  • Adjustable external 5-point cargo net system for storing and transporting helmet, wet gear or shoes
  • Roll-top closure accommodates a range of load sizes
  • Waterproof welded main compartment- 22L volume
  • Easy-access side U-lock / water bottle pockets
  • Interior sleeve pocket fits 15 in. MacBook Pro (laptop sleeve recommended)
  • Ergonomic shoulder straps and an EVA foam back panel supply a good fit and breathability
  • Sternum strap with quick-release push plate buckle for load distribution
