British Columbia-based Enduro World Series star Yoann Barelli could probably ride any bike well and hard, but here, he shows us just how hard and fast a hardtail can be ridden over technical terrain.
The bike in this video is the new Pedalhead from Guerrilla Gravity. It’s Barelli’s personal bike, built up with some of his personal touches, but otherwise a frame directly off the GG factory floor.
Barelli opted for the geared dropouts on the Pedalhead, but a modular dropout system allows the frame to easily switch back between geared and single speed.
The Pedalhead is designed for forks between 120 and 140mm of travel, is designed for wide bars and short stems, and boasts a 65 degree HTA with a 130mm fork. Complete builds start at $3400, but it looks as if frame sets will be available as well.
Barelli talks a little more about the bike in the video below:
In Barelli’s words “Climbing is amazing. Descending is super fun. It kind of teaches you new things…”
This. Is. What. We’re. Saying.
