For Your Viewing Pleasure: Alex Howes & Lachlan Morton do the Pikes Peak Apex – on hardtails!

EF Education First adventure cycling pros Alex Howes and Lachlan Morton recently put the new Cannondale Scalpel hardtail through its paces, racing at the Pikes Peak Apex.

Early in the video, Morton says, “If you could spend like an hour a day mountain biking every day for the rest of your life, you’d be a pretty happy person.” He later says, “The more you ride mountain bikes, the more you want to ride mountain bikes.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Morton also says of the Scalpel, “It seems like the more aggressive you go with it, the better it felt.”
