Classified Cycling launches new G19 Gravel Wheelset

The brand new G19 Gravel Wheelset from Classified Cycling is a low-profile, lightweight hookless rim with a 25mm internal width and a 19mm rim height. It’s tubeless compatible and perfect for 35-61mm tires at low pressure.

Classified’s G19 is a very compliant wheel that guarantees heightened comfort without compromising on performance. It boasts a superior grip and the low inertia ensures faster acceleration. Gravel lovers are now able to enjoy Classified’s Powershift technology in two wheelsets of their choice: the newest G19 and the previously launched G30.

“We developed the G19, our second Classified-ready gravel wheel, to meet the needs of gravel cyclists world-wide that expressed their desire to have a lower profile gravel wheel that gives them great compliance and improved comfort,” said Mathias Plouvier, CEO of Classified. “With the launch of the G19 we expand our current Classified wheelset offering to four elite carbon fibre options. More and more gravel riders are enjoying the benefits of the Powershift technology in riding and racing in challenging terrains and we’re confident that the G19 is a wonderful addition to our product range.”

The G19, like the previous three Classified wheelsets, is especially designed to fit the Powershift hub, Classified’s innovative 2-speed wireless gearing system, that makes it possible to instantaneously change from one gear to another, under full load and on any terrain. The Powershift hub replaces the classic front derailleur and is perfectly compatible with 11 and 12 speed rear derailleurs.

The G19 is the fourth Powershift-ready carbon fibre wheel developed by Classified following the R50 and the R35 (the two road options) and the G30, the first Classified gravel wheelset launched in 2021.
