Wolf Tooth Waveform alloy pedals released

  • Ron

There’s been a shortage of North American-made pedals since Straitline Components shut down, but the new alloy Wolf Tooth Waveform pedals are a strong entry into the class.

The new Wolf Tooth Waveform Aluminum Pedals are designed for all types of MTB riding, from XC to downhill. Wolf Tooth engineered the pedals to provide a supportive platform for power transfer while also cradling and locking your feet in place – even in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions.

Features

  • Shaped with purpose: The shape of Waveform Aluminum Pedals matches the footprint of your shoe.
  • Dual-concave profile: Pedals are 14mm thick at the perimeter and just 12.5mm thick in the center
  • Extra grip: Each side features 11 stainless-steel rear-loading pins for enhanced shoe grip
  • Reliable performance: Internal components are protected against all trail conditions
  • Two sizes: Large (112mm x 106mm) and Small (105mm x 99mm)
  • Four colors: black, orange, blue, and ultraviolet purple

Wolf Tooth believes in the Right to Repair. All individual components of Waveform Aluminum Pedals are available as replacement parts, including the pedal body, stainless steel axle, bearings, and more.

Consistent and Reliable Performance

A key feature of quality pedals is consistent, reliable performance. This means smooth spinning without binding or resistance. To achieve that, Waveform Aluminum Pedals have a stainless steel axle, three custom cartridge bearings, and an igus bushing. The pedals are sealed on both ends to protect internal components from contaminants on the trail. All-mountain riding also means riding in all conditions. Expect consistent and reliable performance while riding in rain, mud, sand, dirt, and snow.

Made in Minnesota

Waveform Aluminum Pedals are designed, machined, assembled, and shipped from Wolf Tooth’s headquarters in Minnesota. Each 6061-T6 aluminum pedal body is machined one at a time in the same CNC mills that create Wollf Tooth’s chainrings, multi-tools, and more. The pedals’ stainless steel axles come from their lathes, which also make Wolf Tooth headsets and seatpost clamps.

The Wolf Tooth assembly team compiles all the parts and assembles each pedal by hand. The entire manufacturing process has multiple quality-control checks along the way to ensure each pedal meets our precise standards.
