fizik launches new Vento Argo X1 saddle

fizik has expanded its Vento saddle range with the launch of the off-road optimized Vento Argo X1.

Its shortened nose and rounded contours improve stability and support on technical XC trails whilst also allowing more aggressive riding positions during cyclocross and gravel competitions.

The arrival of Vento Argo X1 completes fizik’s three-strong Vento Argo X range, with this premium, high-performance model joining the X3 which features a ride-compliant fibre reinforced nylon shell and Kium rail, and the X5, which offers a stiffer option utilising an S-Alloy rail.

The right support to push you hard

The Vento Argo X1 is a low-profile saddle which features a transition from nose to wing to deliver efficient pedalling in every position. The wider nose enables riders hold their grip on steep ascents and produce maximum power on descents without sacrificing comfort.

The saddle meanwhile, becomes a control device when the seatpost is lowered on singletrack as its rounded contours allow for smooth and fast leg, helping riders stay on track.

Engineered pressure relief

The Vento Argo X1 features an improved ergonomic cut-out, designed to relieve pressure on sensitive areas. The rubber layer at the bottom of the cut-out acts as a mud flap, blocking unwanted dirt and spray from unpaved roads.

At home, off road

Though the disciplines may differ; cross country, cyclocross and gravel racers face many similar challenges, including rough terrain, steep gradients, and the need to adapt quickly to changing conditions. The Vento Argo X1 is designed to deliver across these three categories, providing greater comfort and pressure relief over bumpy surfaces whilst supporting the explosive power required to stay ahead of the pack.
