RockyMounts has been my go-to bike rack for more than ten years, faithfully hauling multiple bikes all over town and all over the country.
The RockyMounts MachTen earned its name as the tenth roof-mounted rack in their line. Much like their GuideRail hitch rack, the MachTen features a dual-arm system for holding your bike, an integrated security chain and more.
I’ve been using a GuideRail since the fall of 2024, and can attest for its ease of loading and secure bike holding ability.
The MachTen also carries over the alloy wheel tray and load arms from the GuideRail. As such, it looks nearly new, with only small spots of rust on the bar that goes into the hitch.
Other features include:
- Universal mounting hardware to fit all factory, OEM & aftermarket crossbar systems
- An 8mm square link chain for securing the bike to the rack
- Can be mounted passenger or driver side
- Flip levers are easy to operate and secure the bike
- Blue anodized alloy touch points make operation simple
Specs:
- Wheel sizes 20” to 29”
- Tire diameters skinny road to 3” mountain bike
- Wheelbase 34” to 55”
- Load capacity 45 lbs. per bike
