Daan Hoole (Lidl-Trek) has won Stage 10 of the 2025 Giro d’Italia, the 28.6 km long Lucca-Pisa Tudor ITT, ahead of Joshua Tarling (Ineos Grenadiers) and Ethan Hayter (Soudal Quick-Step).
Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates XRG) retains the Maglia Rosa.
Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner Daan Hoole said: “It’s unbelievable. I’m full of emotions and I want to thank so many people! I was feeling good all week and I was aiming for this day but I never thought I would achieve this. The GC guys got rain and it changed the race a lot but still, I could beat Josh Tarling in the same conditions. I was surprised to beat him. He’s one of the best time trialists in the world. I did a good second part, got some time back on him and maybe exploded a little bit. A win in the Giro is special. I’m so happy!”
