Pinarello unveils the next-generation DOGMA X

  • Ron

Pinarello has unveiled the next generation of the DOGMA X, its flagship “all-road” bike, engineered for riders who live for long days in the saddle.

Positioned alongside the pure racing DOGMA F and -focused DOGMA GR at the pinnacle of Pinarello’s road range, the new DOGMA X represents a profound evolution, integrating a wealth of new and improved features:

X STAYS 2.0

When the DOGMA X was first launched in 2023, its X-STAYS created huge waves across the industry, with many brands seeking to emulate that pioneering system in the years which followed. Always staying one step ahead of the game, Pinarello’s world-class design team have fully revamped this innovative technology, with the X-STAYS 2.0 featuring a new double-arm, four-point top-stay design.

  • Vibration dispersion: Refined endurance geometry and a lower attachment to the seat tube disperse road vibrations more efficiently through the four connection points.
  • Controlled ride: The new, lower linkage also minimises rebound, delivering a more compliant and controlled ride on rougher road surfaces.

Cutting-Edge

The new DOGMA X utilises the same Torayca M40X carbon fibre found in the latest DOGMA F. It is the most advanced layup on the market, boasting an unrivalled tensile modulus (377) to create a frame that is more and durable than ever before, yet optimised to deliver a smoother and more responsive ride.

Aerodynamics & precise handling

Pinarello has applied its WorldTour pedigree and decades of aerodynamics expertise to ensure the new DOGMA X delivers added performance gains:

  • Elliptical steering tube: A new elliptical-shaped steering tube, paired with a wider head tube, enhances aerodynamic efficiency and increases torsional stiffness.
  • Aero down tube: The narrower, tapered down tube further minimises drag while increasing lateral stiffness, making the bike more reactive on climbs and faster on the flat.
  • Closed dropouts: The front end features “closed” dropouts for optimal airflow.
  • Stability: The improvements to the frame also deliver more precise handling and improved stability, particularly on high- descents.

Versatile & Compatible

Built to excel across any road condition, the DOGMA X offers incredible versatility:

  • Tyre clearance: A generous 35mm tyre clearance allows riders to fully benefit from modern tubeless technology, significantly enhancing comfort and control over long distances.
  • Groupset compatibility: A new dual-mount system ensures the frame is fully compatible with UDH.

Pinarello President Fausto Pinarello said: ”The new DOGMA X is the ultimate all-rounder. Like the DOGMA F, it delivers exceptional reactivity, stiffness, and acceleration, but with a carbon layup and design which has been optimised for everyday road surfaces. It’s a bike built for riders who understand that true performance is measured by the ability to sustain their position and power across a range of distances and terrain.

“Because innovation is engrained in our DNA, we took the signature traits which made the original DOGMA X such a success the first time around and refined every detail to create a bike that feels alive and responsive, whether you’re two hours into a ride or 10.

“Every component has been produced to the highest-possible standard and riders will feel that the second they hit the road.”

Specifications & Availability

The DOGMA X is available in a multitude of configurations and colourways, including Moonlight Frost, Etna Lucente, Aqua Veil and the launch-exclusive Jade Eclipse.
