Deceuninck – Quick-Step announces two-year partnership with Wahoo

Deceuninck – Quick-Step riders will use Wahoo’s ELEMNT range of GPS computers, as well as TICKR Heart Rate Monitors for the next two years.

Deceuninck – Quick-Step, who have been crowned UCI World Team Classification winners for the last two seasons, have always prided themselves at being at the forefront of ground-breaking technological advances in cycling, and the team’s interest in leading technology led to the partnership with Wahoo.The Wahoo equipment will give riders live feedback of their physical output during races and training, as well as storing valuable data that our team of coaches can analyse and help the squad continue to strive to be the best in the world.

Head Coach Koen Pelgrim has been impressed by Wahoo’s product range: “We are really happy since we first started to use Wahoo’s connected cycling computers. The ELEMNT units are very user friendly and navigating around the menus is intuitive, which makes setting up training sessions and programs very easy. Likewise, there is a great interface with the mobile app, which adds to the experience and allows the riders to upload their data easily. We are always looking to analyse our riders’ performance and improve where we can, and the way that Wahoo have set up their products makes that very easy for us, so we are very excited to be working with them.”
